SIMCA 8 SPORTS 1950 Little is known about this car in Australia. We believe it has the Simca 8 mechanics with a beautiful body design by Pininfarina and executed by Facel-Metallon. A car similar to this was among the ten cars exhibited as works of art at the Museum of Modern Arts in 1951. |

MATRA SIMCA "Bagheera" 1973-1980. The "Yellow Panther" so nicknamed after Rudyard Kipling's animal character, Bagheera being a panther and yellow being the most popular colour. Driven by the 1290cc engine this glass fibre body on a metal platform was good for 115mph. The most unique feature of the car was the three abreast seating, 1+2 configuration. The later "Bagheera S" had the 1442cc motor and better performance.
